1     Definition

EEG Object refers to

  1. Data of an electrical nature generated by a human brain.
  2. EEG Qualifier specified by MPAI-TFA providing information of the EEG Data Sub-Types, Formats and Attributes.

2       Functional Requirements

ECG Qualifier allows the expression of the following Elements:

  1. Sub-Type
  2. Format

Users needing additional entries in the ECG Qualifier or support of new Qualifiers should make a documented request to the MPAI Secretariat. Requests will be considered by the appropriate MPAI committee.

Header N1 Bytes EEG Object Header
– Standard-EEGObject 9 Bytes The characters “AIH-EEO-V”
– Version N2 Bytes Major version – 1 or 2 characters
– Dot-separator 1 Byte The character “.”
– Subversion N3 Bytes Minor version – 1 or 2 characters
EEGObjectID N5 Bytes Identifier of the EEG Object.
EndUserID N6 Bytes ID of End User the EEG Data refers to.
EndDevice N7 Bytes ID of Device that produced the EEG Data.
EEGObjectTime N8 Bytes Time info of EEG Data.
EEGDataQualifier N9 Bytes EEG Data Qualifier.
DescrMetadata N10 Bytes Descriptive Metadata
