A Data Type representing an ellipse (2D) or ellipsoid (3D).

2      Functional Requirements

An ellipse or ellipsoid is defined by

  1. Centre
  2. Radii and angle
    1. Ellipse:
      1. The angle of the x radius with the longer radius.
      2. The lengths of the two radii.
    2. Ellipsoid:
      1. The angles of the coordinate axes with the semi-axes in decreasing length.
      2. The lengths of the three radii.
