Function

The Personality Alignment AIM (PGM-PAL) AIM receives semantic cues, expressive guidance, and User State signals from, Domain Access, User State Refinement, and Basic Knowledge. Its primary function is to select a Personality so that the A-User’s attitude and responses align with the User State.

Internally, PGM-PAL may perform the following operations:

  • Cue Interpretation: Parses semantic and expressive signals to identify tone, pacing, and stylistic expectations.
  • User State Integration: Incorporates revised User State with inferred Intent and Motivation to modulate Personality framing.
  • Profile Shaping: Adjusts the A-User’s Personality Profile—including tone, style, rhythm, and expressive stance based on interaction context and User preferences.
  • Expressive Modulation: Applies alignment parameters to candidate responses, ensuring expressive coherence and emotional alignment.
  • Status Synchronisation: Ensures that the A-User’s communicative posture reflects the estimated User Personal Status.
  • Output Dispatch: Produces a Personality Modulation Status for A-User Control and a modulated response stream for Rendering.

The resulting outputs ensure that A-User communicates in a way that is emotionally aligned, stylistically consistent, and reflective of the User State and interaction preferences – supporting expressive harmony and the gradual formation of conversational trust between User and A-User across interaction episodes.
