A set of numbers used to indicate the position of a point in a space.

2      Functional Requirements

All points in the space shall have a set of numbers representing them.

The considered coordinate systems are:

  1. Cartesian
  2. Spherical
  3. Geodesic
  4. Cylindrical
  5. Toroidal
