1 Definition

Genomic Qualifier is a set of Data providing additional information on Genomic Data for potential use by a machine.

The combination of Genomic Data and Genomic Qualifier is called Genomic Object, specified by AIH-HSP V1.0.

2 Functional Requirements

Genomic Qualifier must allow the expression of the following Elements:

  1. Sub-Type
  2. Format

Users needing additional entries in the Genomic Qualifier or support of new Qualifiers should make a documented request to the MPAI Secretariat. Requests will be considered by the appropriate MPAI committee.
