1. Functions

The Environment Description (XRV-END) AIM:

  1. Capture Raw Data from the Real and Virtual Environment including audio, visual, and other data in a variety of formats signalled using the Qualifier standard.
  2. Identifies and separates performance elements, Participant elements and Operator elements which are relevant to subsequent processing:
    1. Performance elements include Position, Orientation, and behaviour of individual Performers and objects in the scene.
    2. Participant elements include Position, Orientation, and behaviour of individual Participants and their group behaviour.
    3. Operator elements include actions performed by Operators on control consoles, e.g., lighting, audio, FX.
  3. Produces Performance, Participant, and Operator Descriptors and Show Data.

2. Reference Model

Figure 1 depicts the Reference Model of the LTP Environment Description (XRV-LED) AIM.
