Time Qualifier is a set of Data providing additional information on Time Data for potential use by a machine.

Time Data is specified by MPAI-OSD V1.2, SMPTE 12M-1, SMPTE 12M-2, and MIDI/MTC.

2 Functional Requirements

Location Qualifier must allow the expression of the following Elements:

    1. Sub-Types
    2. Formats
    3. Attributes

Users needing support of other entries in MPAI-TFA should make a documented request to the MPAI Secretariat. An appropriate committee will consider addition of proposed entries.
