1 Functions
The Audio Motion and Proximity (PGM‑AMP) AI Module analyses the temporal and spatial dynamics of Audio Objects in an audio scene by
- Determining relative motion between source and listener
- Detecting motion cues such as frequency variation and intensity changes
- Estimating proximity from acoustic cues (loudness, spectral attenuation, reverberation)
- Producing Motion Flags and a Proximity Class characterising each Audio Object’s dynamics
The AMP AI Module operates as follows:
- Receives the Audio Scene Descriptors
- Extracts motion cues (frequency variation, intensity changes)
- Estimates proximity using loudness, spectral attenuation, and reverberation
- Classifies the motion and proximity condition of each Audio Object
- Outputs Motion Flags and a Proximity Class for use by downstream AI Modules

3 I/O Data
Table 1 specifies the Input and Output Data of the Audio Motion and Proximity (PGM‑AMP) AIM.
| Input | Description |
|---|---|
| Audio Scene Descriptors | Description of the audio scene whose objects’ motion and proximity are analysed. |
| Audio CXT Directive | Control directive specifying scope, depth, or policy constraints for motion and proximity analysis. |
| Audio Domain Response | Domain‑specific knowledge supporting motion and proximity inference. |
| Audio Interaction History Response | Prior interaction‑history content supporting temporal consistency across captures. |
| Output | Description |
| Motion Flags | Per‑object indicators of detected motion and its character (e.g. approaching, receding, static). |
| Proximity Class | Per‑object proximity classification derived from acoustic cues (e.g. near, mid, far). |
| Audio CXT Status | Status information describing the execution and outcome of Audio Motion and Proximity processing. |
| Audio Domain Request | Query to Domain Access for domain‑specific knowledge. |

8 Conformance Testing
Table 2 provides the Conformance Testing Method for the Audio Motion and Proximity (PGM‑AMP) AIM.
If a schema contains references to other schemas, conformance of data for the primary schema implies that any data referencing a secondary schema shall also validate against the relevant schema, if present, and conform with the Qualifier, if present.
| Receives | Audio Scene Descriptors | Shall validate against Audio Scene Descriptors schema. |
| Audio CXT Directive | Shall validate against Audio CXT Directive schema. | |
| Audio Domain Response | Shall validate against Audio Domain schema. | |
| Audio Interaction History Response | Shall validate against Interaction History schema. | |
| Produces | Motion Flags | Shall validate against Motion Flags schema. |
| Proximity Class | Shall validate against Proximity Class schema. | |
| Audio CXT Status | Shall validate against Audio CXT Status schema. | |
| Audio Domain Request | Shall validate against Audio Domain schema. |
