1 Functions

The Basic RADAR Scene Description (OSD-BRS) AIM describes the acquired Basic RADAR Object as Basic RADAR Scene Descriptors. It raises an Alert when what it describes warrants one, without waiting for integration. Spatial Attitude and Basic Environment Descriptors are optional inputs, so that the same AIM serves applications that have something to connect to them and applications that do not.

Receives Basic RADAR Object The acquired Basic RADAR Object.
Spatial Attitude Spatial Attitude of the application (ego), when it has one.
Basic Environment Descriptors Descriptors of the environment, when the application has them.
Produces Basic RADAR Scene Descriptors The description of the RADAR scene.
Alert Raised when what is described warrants one.

8 Conformance Testing

Table 2 provides the Conformance Testing Method for the OSD-BRS AIM.

If a schema contains references to other schemas, conformance of data for the primary schema implies that any data referencing a secondary schema shall also validate against the relevant schema, if present, and conform with the Qualifier, if present.

Table 2 – Conformance Testing Method for the OSD-BRS AIM

Receives Basic RADAR Object (Basic RADAR Object) Shall validate against the Basic RADAR Object schema.
Spatial Attitude (Spatial Attitude) Shall validate against the Spatial Attitude schema.
Basic Environment Descriptors (Basic Environment Descriptors) Shall validate against the Basic Environment Descriptors schema.
Produces Basic RADAR Scene Descriptors (Basic RADAR Scene Descriptors) Shall validate against the Basic RADAR Scene Descriptors schema.
