1 Definition
A space enclosed by walls: its shape a Simple Location – a combination of Right Parallelepipeds. The walls are the faces of the Right Parallelepipeds, named Floor, Ceiling, Front, Back, Left and Right as Right Parallelepiped names them; a face where two Right Parallelepipeds meet is an opening, not a wall. What the walls are made of – their Materials – is not part of the Closed Space: it belongs to the acoustics of the Scene, the Walls and the DefaultMaterial of its Acoustic Profile (CAE-ACP).
2 Functional Requirements
- The Data shall have Header “OSD-CSP-V1.5”.
- The Data shall include ClosedSpaceID, Shape.
- The Data may include the other properties of Table 1, each as specified there.
- The Data shall validate against the JSON Schema of Section 3.

5 Conformance Testing
A Data instance conforms with Closed Space (OSD-CSP) if it validates against the JSON Schema of Section 3. If a schema contains references to other schemas, conformance of data for the primary schema implies that any data referencing a secondary schema shall also validate against the relevant schema.
