Technical Specification: AI Framework (MPAI-AIF) V3.0 specifies an environment – the AI Framework – in which data processing elements – called AI Modules – operate, exchanging data among themselves, and with both User and external agents. The AI Framework specifies architecture, interfaces, protocols, and Application Programming Interfaces (API) that have been specially designed for the execution of not only AI-based but also mixed AI and traditional data processing workloads.
In the following, the Technical Specification, also referred to as MPAI-AIF V3.0 or simply MPAI-AIF.
The current version of the Technical Specification: AI Framework (MPAI-AIF) V3.0 has been developed by the MPAI AI Framework Development Committee (AIF-DC). Future Versions may revise and/or extend the Scope of this Technical Specification.
