1 Definition

Brainwaves is a Data Type including the frequency of each band of the electroencephalographic (EEG) activity of a human, or of a group of humans.

2 Functional Requirements

Brainwaves includes the frequency, in Hz, of the following EEG bands:

  1. Delta
  2. Theta
  3. Alpha
  4. Beta
  5. Gamma

At least one band is present. Brainwaves may be derived from an EEG Object and may be carried by Biometric Data.

5 Conformance Testing

A Data instance Conforms with Brainwaves (AIH-BRW) if:

  1. Its JSON Object validates against its JSON Schema.
  2. Any included JSON Object validates against its JSON Schema.
  3. All Data in the JSON Object:
    1. Have the specified Data Types.
    2. Conform with the Qualifiers signaled in their JSON Schemas.
