Reference Software Specification: Object and Scene Description (MPAI-OSD) V1.0 specifies the features and the terms of use of the Reference Software Implementation of the Television Media Analysis (OSD-TMA) AI Workflow specified in Technical Specification: Object and Scene Description (MPAI-OSD) V1.1.

The Terms of Use of the MPAI-OSD Reference Software Implementation – the following called “Software” are:

  1. The Software is released as source code according to the MPAI General Licence for MPAI Software V1.0:
  2. The sole purpose of the Software is to provide a working technically correct Implementation of the OSD-TMA AI Workflow in a working technically correct Implementation of Technical Specification: AI Framework (MPAI-AIF) V1.0.
  3. The OSD-TMA Reference Software does not aim to provide a ready-to-use product.
  4. MPAI disclaims the suitability of the Software for any other purposes than that of the OSD-TMA AI Workflow.
  5. MPAI does not guarantee that the OSD-TMA Implementation is secure (See also Notices and Disclaimers).
  6. The OSD-TMA Reference Software references third-party software. Users shall verify that they have the right to use such third-party software when exercising the Software.

The MPAI-OSD Reference Software Specification and Implementation have been developed by the MPAI AI Framework Development Committee (AIF-DC). MPAI may decide to produce new Versions of the MPAI-OSD Reference Software Specification and Implementation.
