1    Functions

The Audio Object Acquisition (CAE-AOA) AIM:

Receives User Command From User.
Audio Object From a storage device or a sesnor.
Sensor Output E.g., a microphone.
Produces Audio Object Resulting from the acquisition process.

2    Reference Model

Figure 1 depicts the Reference Model of the Audio Object Acquisition (CAE-AOA) AIM.

Figure 1 – The Reference Model of the Audio Object Acquisition (CAE-AOA) AIM

3    I/O Data

Table 1 specifies the Input and Output Data of the Audio Object Acquisition (CAE-AOA) AIM.

Table 1 – I/O Data of the Audio Object Acquisition (CAE-AOA) AIM

Input Description
User Command Instruction directing the operation of the CAE-AOA AIM.
Sensor Output May be an Audio Object or Audio Data without Qualifier.
Audio Object An Audio Object from a Storage Device, e.g., the Repository.
Output Description
Audio Object The acquired Audio Object. If the sensor only provided Audio data, Qualifier information is provided in User Command.

4    SubAIMs

No SubAIMs.

8    Conformance Testing

Table 2 provides the Conformance Testing Method for the Audio Object Acquisition (CAE-AOA) AIM.

If a schema contains references to other schemas, conformance of data for the primary schema implies that any data referencing a secondary schema shall also validate against the relevant schema, if present, and conform with the Qualifier, if present.

Table 2 – Conformance Testing Method for the MAS Response Analysis (CAV‑MRA) AIM

Receives User Command Shall validate against User Command schema.
Sensor Output Shall validate against Audio Object schema.
Audio Object Shall validate against Audio Object schema.
Produces Audio Object Shall validate against Audio Object schema.

9    Performance Assessment

Not part of this specification.
