1 Functions
The Full to Basic Object (OSD-FBO) AIM gives access to the Basic Objects of which a Full Object is composed, sequentially. A Full Object is a wrapper of Basic Objects; the AIMs that follow work on the Basic Objects, not on the wrapper.
| Receives | Full Object (any medium) | The Full Object whose Basic Objects are wanted. |
| Produces | Basic Object (of the medium of the Full Object) | The Basic Objects of the Full Object, one by one, in order. |
2 Reference Model
The AIM has one Full Object input and one Basic Object output; it provides the Basic Objects sequentially. It is defined for all media: the Basic Object it outputs is that of the medium of the Full Object it received. [Figure 1 – The Full to Basic Object (OSD-FBO) AIM: to be drawn]
3 Input/Output Data
Table 1 specifies the Input and Output Data of the Full to Basic Object (OSD-FBO) AIM.
| Input | Description |
| Speech Object (OSD-SPO), Audio Object (OSD-AUO), Visual Object (OSD-VIO), 3D Model Object (OSD-3DO), LiDAR Object (OSD-LIO), RADAR Object (OSD-RAO), Offline Map Object (OSD-OMO), Ultrasound Object (OSD-USO), Multimodal Object (OSD-MMO), Text Object (OSD-TXO), Object (OSD-OBJ) | The Full Object, of one of these Data Types. |
| Output | Description |
| Basic Speech Object (OSD-BSO), Basic Audio Object (OSD-BAO), Basic Visual Object (OSD-BVO), Basic 3D Model Object (OSD-B3O), Basic LiDAR Object (OSD-BLO), Basic RADAR Object (OSD-BRO), Basic Offline Map Object (OSD-BOO), Basic Ultrasound Object (OSD-BUO), Basic Multimodal Object (OSD-BMO), Basic Text Object (OSD-BTO), Basic Object (OSD-BOB) | The Basic Object, of the Data Type that corresponds to the Full Object received (Speech Object gives Basic Speech Object, and so on). |

8 Conformance Testing
Table 2 provides the Conformance Testing Method for the Full to Basic Object (OSD-FBO) AIM.
If a schema contains references to other schemas, conformance of data for the primary schema implies that any data referencing a secondary schema shall also validate against the relevant schema, if present, and conform with the Qualifier, if present.
| Receives | Full Object | Shall validate against the schema of its Data Type. |
| Produces | Basic Object | Shall validate against the schema of its Data Type, and be one of the Basic Objects of the Full Object received. |
