1 Functions

The Visual Scene Description (PGM‑VSD) AIM receives a Visual Object and produces the Visual Scene Descriptors describing it. In the PGM‑AUA context, the AIM operates under the control of a Visual CXT Directive issued by A‑User Control (through the CXT‑AUS Interface) and reports a Visual CXT Status on completion. The AIM references the Input and Output Data Types by name; their structure is specified by the respective Data Type definitions.

Receives Visual Object Visual Objects in the Visual Scene.
Visual CXT Directive Control directive from A‑User Control specifying scope, framing, and acquisition parameters for visual scene description.
Produces Visual Scene Descriptors Descriptors of the Visual Scene.
Visual CXT Status Status information describing the execution and outcome of Visual Scene Description processing.

2 Reference Model

3 I/O Data

Table 1 specifies the Input and Output Data of the Visual Scene Description (PGM‑VSD) AIM.

8 Conformance Testing

Table 2 provides the Conformance Testing Method for the Visual Scene Description (PGM‑VSD) AIM.

If a schema contains references to other schemas, conformance of data for the primary schema implies that any data referencing a secondary schema shall also validate against the relevant schema, if present, and conform with the Qualifier, if present.

Table 2 – Conformance Testing Method for the Visual Scene Description (PGM‑VSD) AIM

Receives Visual Object Shall validate against Visual Object schema. Visual Data shall conform with Visual Qualifier.
Visual CXT Directive Shall validate against Visual CXT Directive schema.
Produces Visual Scene Descriptors Shall validate against Visual Scene Descriptors schema.
Visual CXT Status Shall validate against Visual CXT Status schema.
