Definition

Salient Object Matrix (PGM-SOM): The Visual Objects ranked by perceptual importance and interaction relevance by Visual Salience Mapping. Each row is a Visual Object and each column a salience criterion.

Functional Requirements

  1. Header: The Data shall have Header “PGM-SOM-V1.0”.
  2. Identification: The Data shall carry the identifiers of the M‑Instance, of the U‑Environment and of the session, and a unique identifier and a time (SalientObjectMatrixID, SalientObjectMatrixTime).
  3. Criteria: The Data may include the criteria that form the columns.
  4. Rows: The Data shall include the rows of the matrix, one for each Visual Object.
  5. Metadata: The Data shall include DataXMData and may include DescrMetadata.

MInstance Identifier of the M-Instance. (required)
UEnvironment Identifier of the U-Environment. (required)
SessionID Identifier of the A-User session. (required)
SalientObjectMatrixID Identifier of this instance. (required)
SalientObjectMatrixTime Time at which the Data was produced. (required)
Criteria The criteria that form the columns.
Rows The rows of the matrix, one for each Visual Object. (required)
– VisualObjectID Visual Object ID. (required)
– Rank Position in the ranking, starting from 1. (required)
– SalienceScore Salience score, 0 to 1. (required)
– Scores Score for each criterion of Criteria.
– InteractionRelevance Relevance of the interactions the object offers.
DataXMData Data Exchange Metadata of MPAI-PTF: provenance, authorisation, security and confidence of the Data.
DescrMetadata Descriptive metadata (plain text, at most 2048 characters).

Conformance Testing

Data conforms with Salient Object Matrix if it validates against the schema of Section 3. If a schema contains references to other schemas, conformance of data for the primary schema implies that any data referencing a secondary schema shall also validate against the relevant schema.
